Who knew a sunflower field could be so inspiring?
Working in the event design industry, it’s no exaggeration when I say flowers are a big part of my life. Primarily roses, hydrangeas, and orchids– but there is just something about sunflowers that have always been my favorite “feel good” flower.
This particular sunflower field photographed truly sticks out from the rest. It’s been quite the rainy fall here in New Jersey, so finding a sunflower field that was still in bloom was nearly impossible. Until we stumbled upon this gem right near Happy Day Farm in Manalapan Township, NJ. It was still going strong, still standing tall, and facing the sun despite the odds being against it’s favor.
I felt incredibly blessed and grateful to share in the beauty of this simple, yet powerfully symbolic moment with my little Mila girl.
